Expertise: Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwiches. By the way, I'm into acting/singing/dancing. Some might consider this entertainment (and it is), but I listed my "idustry" as art instead because I don't do it for the purpose of entertaining. I do it for the discovery it brings...and that's art. Pretty deep, huh?

you know, sometimes you need to feel like you are important to someone who is important to you...

Saturday, May 01, 2004

Wow guys- the last time I posted was the first day of April and now it's the last day of April (Xanga will tell you it's May 1, but don't be fooled.  I haven't gone to bed yet- it's still April).  Imagine that.  I finished exams and got home on the 22nd.  W'hoo- except not really- because I'm bored.  Glad to be home, though.  I'm on committee decision for acting track right now- YAY- it's looking good.  And I found out today that the teacher I will have for Acting for Film and TV was on As the World Turns for 14 years.  She was Lila if any of you know the show.  I'm not a soap opera girl.  Anyway, I'm going to copy Elise b/c it sounds like fun, and I don't have much else to say.  Here goes:

10 Things I Touch Every Day:

1. my toothbrush

2. my hairbrush

3. my kitty-cats (now that I'm home- they missed me)

4. the remote control (also now that I'm home- almost never while I was at school though.  I swear I watch a movie a day now.)

6 Random Memories:

1. Accidentally calling Preston "Paul" and laughing uncontrollably to Jennie about it

2. My emotional burst on the last day of church for the school year (I BAWLED like a baby- I mean I was out of control- I was in the middle of the choir, too, and I couldn't sing...it was bad...other people were crying, too.  I'm not a freak)

3. Instant mashed-potatoing the SHHS lawn

Sorry- I must correct myself.  The quote from Voice and Diction is "Mercy is something you can eat again and again while the juice drips from your chin.  You can wipe it away with the back of your hand and you can never get enough."  That's the message I delivered to random strangers in the quad.

Guess what-  if I ever have room for non-theatre classes in my schedule, I've decided to minor in poli-sci.  Cool, huh?  Of course, I was also considering a minor in English and another degree in theatre education.  I'm just going to be an undergrad student for the rest of my life, I suppose.  We'll see how it goes.

I come home in less than a month- April 22.  Two weeks left of classes- w'hoo!!!!  Well, that's all for now...
